TEAMS annual Special Area Group Conference is a prime opportunity for teachers, students, and the community at large to experience industrial arts and technology first hand. Built on a solid relationship with business and educators the SAG conference provides TEAM members with a resource for learning and offers hands on training for a number of applied skills.
Are you interested in sharing your expertise with educators from across Manitoba? If you are, then consider presenting at the TEAM SAG conference on October 22, 2010 at TEC VOC High School.
SAG, for educators in Manitoba, is the biggest Professional Development day all year and brings together nearly 450 registrants, marketplace displays, and corporate sponsors.
All presenters are expected to register as conference delegates.
Manitoba teachers, who present, are compensated for their preparation time.
The Program committee will confirm your participation and submitted information by April 30, 2010.
Please use the following guidelines when completing the Call for Presenters form:
- Title: Be as brief yet as specific as possible.
- Provide a 50-100 word session description that will be used in the SAG Conference program. Please write this description with the reader in mind as it will form the basis upon which delegates select their sessions. The description should include the purpose, outcomes, content, and the presentation strategies (e.g. activity, oral presentation, combination). Explain the focus of the session, what the participants will learn, and how they can implement this information.
- Presenters are encouraged to submit an electronic copy of their session handout to be posted on the conference website.
A special thanks goes out to all our suppliers who continually support TEAM and the SAG Conferences!
